About Selva Marina Country Club
Founded in 1958, our established member-owned Club offers a spirited and relaxed family atmosphere in Atlantic Beach. Our members enjoy a private Club which has maintained its sense of tradition, while keeping up with the ever-changing times. The comforts and amenities of Selva Marina County Club attract membership from the entire Jacksonville area.
A clear favorite of golfers in Jacksonville, Selva Marina is recognized for its elevated greens and challenge for players of all levels. The 18-hole, par 72, walking course is complete with a driving range, as well as practice, pitching and putting greens.
Just blocks away from the beach, Selva Marina has the feel of a links course with the open fairways and ocean breezes. Our Club was home to the Greater Jacksonville Open (now The Players Championship), where history took place in 1966 when Jack Nicklaus recorded his first double eagle on the 18th hole.
Twelve manicured clay tennis courts compliment our active tennis membership. Selva Marina is host to over twenty competitive teams as well as a strong year-round junior program. The courts are utilized day and night with eight lighted clay courts and access to a practice wall, ball machine, and a variety of lessons and clinics to sharpen the game of players of all ages and skill levels.
Our junior Olympic size swimming pool is the focus of summer life at the Club. Home to the Mariners, a competitive youth swim team, Selva Marina is also host to several summer camp packages for children ages six and up.
Sunday brunch, the popular seafood buffet, and special holiday occasions are just a sampling of the variety we offer our members. Selva Marina is known for fine food and excellent service in addition to an array of dining choices. Selva Marina also offers an opportunity for members to entertain at the clubhouse through our banquet facilities and meeting rooms. Our catering department is at your service.
